Built in 1912 Quilbone is nestled on 17 and ½ perches of land originally part of the James Henry Neale Estate of 1879. Quilbone has been lovingly reborn into a luxurious, elegantly appointed cottage for 1 or 2 couples.
Situated in a sleepy hollow where crab apple and plum trees, rhododendrons, and drifts of daffodils have been its constant companions, Quilbone is the ideal place for you to get away and relax in the Blue Montains.
The Experience
Step though the front door and enter a world of peace, relaxation and rejuvenation. Listen to music, sip a wine or port, read the daily paper or just let the flames mesmerise you as you laze and unwind in front of the open wood fire in the cosy lounge room.
Quilbone has all the extras, creature comforts and attention to detail such as:
central heating
crisp white linen
fluffy white bath sheets
cosy bathrobes
deep claw foot bath
CD, television and DVD and
fully equipped kitchenette
As night closes in
As night closes in, retire to your bedroom and snuggle under the soft and luxurious quilts and eiderdowns and rest your weary head on piles of comfy pillows, European cushions and bolster rolls.
Each bedroom has:
central heating
queen size pillow top ensembles
dual control electric blankets
radio alarm clock
bedside lamps
wardrobe
cosy white bathrobes and
book of quotes and vignettes
Greet the morning slowly as you feast on a scrumptious breakfast of toast and cereals, jams and marmalades, coffee/tea, fruits and juice in the sun drenched breakfast room overlooking the garden. The fully equipped kitchenette lets you prepare it at your own pace and to your own liking.
Then let your cares float away as you sink into a deep claw-foot bath complete with bath salts, bubbles and body lotions.

"Quilbone Cottage had a lovely atmosphere,it was relaxing to sit in front of the open fire and have a few glasses of red wine. You felt like you were at home from the moment you walked through the front door. It was definately the place to go to totally enjoy the Blue Mountains experience, and a place you would want to stay at again."
