Meredith House offers high quality bed and breakfast accommodation in either the 1853 house or in the later built mews style, studio apartments which adjoin the property. Inside the main house there are 7 ensuite bedrooms, including one ground floor, spa suite. All are furnished in period style, yet have the facilities the modern day traveller requires, such as direct dial telephone, mini-bar, T.V. fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, Iron & Ironing Board.
The public areas include a comfortable guest lounge with real fire, spacious verandah and beautiful gardens.

Meredith Mews
Added in 1997, the Mews Studio Rooms can accommodate up to three people. Each room has a queen-sized bed and single bed (a cot can be added for an infant). Three of the Mews rooms have ensuite spa bathrooms, while the fourth has a walk-in shower. All have a dining area and small kitchenette, with microwave, kettle, toaster and firdge, as well as all the crockery and cutlery you will need.
To the front of each Mews is an off-road parking space, while to the rear, your own private verandah onto the beautiful landscaped gardens, with gas barbecue and guest laundry facilities.

Meredith House is located in the historic coastal town of Swansea on Tasmania's east coast. In town we have the fantastic Ebb and Banc restaurants, both of which serve Tasmanian produce at its best, and close by is Kates Berry Farm, fast becoming one of Tasmania's 'must-see' attractions. We are a short drive to Freycinet National Park and Coles Bay, where you will find the world famous Wineglass Bay , take the walk up to the lookout and enjoy the superb scenery. Afterwards drive to the lighthouse at Cape Tourville for truly spectacular stunning ocean views.
