We offer One-Bedroom and Two-Bedroom Fully Self Contained Luxury Apartments that have just been completely refitted and appointed with every modern convenience that one would expect from a High End Property.

While we have just completed a full internal refit of the building, all of the furniture, appliances, fixtures, fittings, Bedding, Linen and Curtains etc. have been replaced with new. We have worked closely with the Heritage Listing Authorities to maintain the buildings true 19th century Heritage style, feel and character.

When Only the Best Will Do! One & Two-Bedroom Split Level Fully Self Contained Luxury Holiday Apartments...

Our Apartments are Very Large; the Two-Bedroom Apartments have Bedrooms, Kitchen, Bath Room, Laundry and Private Queenslander Style Veranda up Stairs with an Enormous Lounge Room and Dinning Room down Stairs.

The Lounge Room has seating for eight on two very comfortable Sofas and two beautiful wraparound Leather Lounge Chairs. In addition, there is a Stunning Timber Dinning Room Table, made from Solid Oak that has place settings for eight people.

Our Building is Heritage listed, built in 1894 and boasting spectacular water & mountain views we are centrally located in Historic Battery Point, only meters from the stunning blue waters of the mighty Derwent River.

In the spring and summer Yacht’s & the occasional Cruise Ship can be seen cruising the Derwent as you relax on your own private veranda while in the winter it’s a snow capped Mt. Wellington that dominates the landscape.

We have an uninterrupted; 180 Degree View starting from a snow capped Mt. Wellington, across the beautiful Valley, past the landmark Casino complex, over the Yacht Club and Sandy Bay and all the way over to the Eastern Shore of the Derwent River.

One-Bedroom Apartment Nightly Rate is for 2 Adults Only with additional Adults charged at $35.00 / Night and Children (Under 12 Years of Age) at $20.00 / Night. (To a Maximum No. of 5 Persons).

Two-Bedroom Apartment Nightly Rate is for 4 Adults Only with additional Adults charged at $35.00 / Night and Children (Under 12 Years of Age) at $20.00 / Night. (To a Maximum No. of 8 Persons).

For Extended Stays Over 4 Nights We offer the Two following Discounts: -

Stay 4 Nights or More and receive a 10% Discount. (Valid only from 31-Mar to 1-Oct).
Stay 7 Nights or More and receive a 15% Discount. (Valid only from 31-Mar to 1-Oct).

We also have a Port-A-Cot and High-Chair for hire at $10.00 / Night.

There is a $20.00 charge for Friday & Saturday Nights.

It’s just a 10 minute walk to Constitution Dock, Elizabeth Street Pier, Wrest Point Casino, Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania, Salamanca Markets, street cafe's, restaurants & the city centre itself. All you need to do is relax and enjoy the surrounding atmosphere that is unique to Battery Point. Being located in a somewhat secluded location, there is little street traffic with little or no noise being generated at all.

All Apartments feature a full kitchen with all new appliances, oven & hotplates, fat free grille, refrigerator, microwave, cappuccino machine, dishwasher & crockery, cutlery & utensils. The lounge room has an extensive range of electronic home entertainment equipment including a big screen TV, free digital Foxtel/Austar, DVD/Video, Stero, digital set top box and wireless broadband connection. We also offer Free local telephone calls from every Apartment.

Room heating is installed throughout, the Two-Bedroom Apartments featuring under floor heating installed in the Bedrooms, Hallway and Kitchen. The bathroom has a large Spa Bath, separate shower cubicle, ceiling mounted heat lamp/fan & hair dryer. Each apartment is equipped with an internal private laundry facility with washing machine, clothes dryer, soaking tub, iron & ironing board etc.

"Very good situation loved Battery Point and enjoyed our stay immensely. Well equipped kitchen, 2 comfortable and large bedrooms upstairs, sofa bed in the lounge downstairs. Not big problem but be aware that there is only one toilet, in the bathroom, upstairs and the lounge (thus sofa bed) and big dining table are downstairs. We ate in the kitchen."

"These apartments were excellent. Under floor heating was a huge bonus as you didn't have to rely on dry heat blowing in your face (especially for asthmatics). Very well appointed with bread maker, proper espresso machine, juicer, griller large range of excellent stemmed wine glasses etc. in the kitchen. Nice not to have a good glass of red out of a kitchen drinking glass. Separate dining room and lounge downstairs to chill out away from the kitchen. Views right across the Harbour and Mt Wellington and upstairs a large verandah to sit out on to enjoy drinks in the evening.
Would highly recommend and would stay there again as it was good value."

Cannot imagine staying anywhere else the next time I visit Hobart. This house is perfect for a large or small group of travelers’. The location of the property allows you to soak up the beauty of Hobart life, something that a soulless hotel room cannot offer.
Fitted with everything you need and then some, this property is a hidden gem, and for my selfish needs, should remain that way!

These apartments look very good on the internet and they are even better in person. Great location. Great views of Sandy Bay. Luxury accommodations. Plenty of room to relax. Inn keeper very kind and helpful. Within walking distance of everything but hills are steep. Best to have a car. I would stay there again.
