The retreat is ideal for single groups and get togethers with beautiful grand multifunctional spaces that flow seamlessly from indoors to outdoors. There are many spectacular spaces that leave a lasting wow impression and capture beautifully on photographs.

RETREAT DESCRIPTION
The Angkasa is a boutique luxury retreat just completed in Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
An idyllic, serene position, that is nestled between tropical rainforest and the sea. The retreat is directly opposite pristine secluded beaches, that are the Sunshine Coasts best secret and is only 2 minutes away from Coolum Beach village and 2 minutes to PGA championship golf.
The Angkasa’s architecture and design blends the Sunshine Coast’s unique modernist beach style with an Asian aesthetic Floor to ceiling windows that brings the rainforest into the rooms and slideaway doors blend the indoors with outdoors perfectly.
From the building’s architecture, interior design & landscape down to the artworks, everything was lovingly collected, designed or hand crafted by the family.
Built in accordance with Chinese Feng Shui principles, the ambience of the retreat soothes and pampers.
All the spaces are designed to calm and relax. The Zen like spaces and the framing of natural surrounds from every angle of the building provides the perfect backdrop for contemplation and meditation, albeit in luxurious surrounds. The retreat even boasts a library for guests, filled with music and books collected over the years and themed from a travel and spiritual basis.
