Walk across the road to Chapel Lane, the lake and scenic easy walking track.
Walk on further to play Putt Putt Golf, 9 holes of golf or enjoy a meal at the Swiss Village.
Grindelwald is a unique Village atmospehere, little or no traffic noise, the evening skies twinkle with stars.
We have resident wallaby's, grazing on our lawn at dusk.
Many varieties of bird life are attracted to our large garden and expansive lawns.
In the cooler months, this Swiss cottage is very cosy, double brick with north facing sunlit living space warmed with a very effective heat pump.
Guests travelling with dogs are offered a unique opportunity.
Beside the Swiss Cottage is a one acre fully fenced excercise yard. Fenced with wooden railing and rabbit wire.
There are many shady trees and we mow this yard with a grass catcher, so it is very safe.
We keep out the bunnies and small wallabys so it should keep your dog inside.
Our dog, a Smithfield has 3 other gardens.
The 3rd bedroom has a side door and has a lino floor with rugs that can be removed.
We will allow dogs to sleep in this room in the house.
We can provide bedding, we even have a large Dog Show crate from pampered pooches.
Dog sitting while you go on long day tours available.
Main Lodge accommodation is 50 Meters from the Swiss Cottage.

Master suite has the option of room for a cot in the dressing room, if your travelling with a baby
This dressing room has a window,a sliding door and is suitable for a cot, with a comfortable chair.
This suite could be a retreat or romantic getaway for a couple.
King Single Study Room
King Single Bedroom on Ground floor,
Use of Shower, WC and Vanity in the Spa Room, along the hallway.
This room is only offered to family groups who are booked into the Master Suite or Swiss Cottage.
A second single bed can be added to this room.
