Elizabeth Bay is a little known neighbour of bustling Kings cross in Sydney\'s heartland. It is a quiet suburb home to middle class apartment dwellers and the like.
Elizabeth Bay situated behind Kings Cross is like the ying and the yang of each other. As much as one is noisy and full on Elizabeth Bay is quiet and demure mind you a very expensive place to live, great bay veiws and lots of little eaterys.
Great little suburb near the CBD of Sydney and yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle. It is on the harbour and has the feel of a seaside village of sorts.
My husband and I stopped for coffee at one of the best Cafe\'s which happens to be in Elizabeth Bay. If you are here, make sure you drop into Veloce Deli Cafe for a coffee. They roast their own coffee beans here which truly makes a delightful difference. The food is quite good here and very reasonably priced.
My home and one of my favourite Sydney suburbs, Elizabeth Bay is a blend of the funky and the extreme, where the wealthy and the aspirational come to play.
Elizabeth Bay is kind of the lost aunt surrounded by it\'s debauched cousin King\'s Cross. It\'s kind of quiet and undiscovered and I suspect that\'s how the locals would like it to remain.
