The island can be a little disappointing in themselves as the expectation is for white sand beaches on all of them and this is not the case. Good for a nice quiet holiday or a visit to the Great Barrier reef.

Hamilton is the most accessible with the most accomodation options. The rest depend on whether you are a honeymooner of family.

If you can imagine the Greek Islands with not much inhabitants you\'ve got the Whitsundays + much better beaches such as Whitehaven.
